I used to run my newspaper run on Air Jordans when I was a teenager and i’m hooked ever since. Michael Jordans are the dopest sneakers ever made! But in Amsterdam they can be hard to find. At least the exclusive one’s. So if you’re like me, and you’re into exclusive sneakers – or less exclusive but you’re old one’s are just fucked – you might wanna check out these shops. Spend a couple on some new brothel-creepers, and go impress your friend. “I bought them in Amsterdam so you won’t imitate me. Fool!”
- Patta - Very Exclusive kicks. OG Trainers to new Retro’s. Brands like Nike,Puma Reebok. Clothing as well. www.patta.nl
- SeventyFive – Several locations. Haarlemmerdijk 55, van Woustraat 24, Nieuwe Hoogstraat 24. A bit less exclusive but still pretty special. Lot’s of ltd Nike’s, adidas en reeboks…
- Coach – Good purchasing party. Often the newest Jordans before the US release date! Unfortunately, the sell a lot of crap too. The place is suddenly gone. A new number 3 will arrive as soon as I found a descent new shop that suits the list. Suggestions are welcome via the comments.
- Tom’s Skatewinkel – Specialized in skate gear with a large collection of NikeSB.
- Independent Outlet – Vans? Anyone? Vans! An other skate shop but no Nike’s here. Mostly Vans but also brands as Dekline, Fallen and Coverse. A new “exclusive looking sneakershop opened almost next door, the other day. Did not have a peek as yet, but it looks …. expensive mostly.
